Purpose

There is a need for a Service Level Agreement between DHT and DBC to be agreed to cover the period 2027/28 - 2028/29 during the transition towards Local Government Reorganisation, to enable DHT to continue to provide services as set out in the SLA.

Decision

1)That DBC agrees and completes a new SLA with DHT, covering the two-year period 2027/28 – 2028/29, to cover the period of transition into the new unitary authority to enable them to provide services as set out in the SLA.
2)That the grant payment amount to be paid in 2027/28 to DHT be confirmed at an appropriate date in line with budget setting processes.
