RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND

Cabinet recommended that the Council:

1. Approve the changes to the Council’s Constitution Parts 3 and 5;
2. Delegate authority to make amendments to the Gateway Assessment Procedural Guide to the Assistant Director (Planning) and the Head of Development Management, in conjunction with the Chair of Development Management Committee (DMC) and subject to annual review by DMC.
3. Authorises the Assistant Director, Legal, People and Democratic Services to make the required amendments to the Council’s Constitution to give effect to this decision including any minor changes to parts 3 and 5 as proposed by this report to ensure that it remains legally sound.
