Purpose

The gateway structures received planning permission in August 2026 and have since received an agreed in principle licence from Hertfordshire County Council to install the structures. This will enable the first phase of the Maylands Business Park wayfinding project to move forward. The project has been developed to make the area easier to navigate and support movement between key destinations. The project will deliver a coordinated suite of improvements, including upgraded road signs, new finger posts and the large ‘M’ gateway signs, providing a clear and visible first phase of enhancements across the business park.
