RESOLVED that, having regard to the
recommendations from Performance Scrutiny Committee and the representation made
by staff, Unison representatives and the wider elected membership, Cabinet –

 

(a)      agrees to pause the
implementation of the decision to close Cefndy for a period of six months in
order that Scrutiny, Unison, and any relevant stakeholders may bring forward
for consideration a detailed business case for a sustainable, viable, financial
future for Cefndy based on a review of any of the alternatives suggested by
them, and

 

(b)      the process of the review
to be inclusive of all stakeholders and the outcome be reported to Scrutiny for
consideration.
