That the revised
Waste & Recycling Policy is adopted as of January 2026.

 

 

Reasons for the decision

The was a need to
amend the policy so that ambiguities that existed in the old policy were
removed making it easier for residents, employees, Members and the wider
business to understand processes and procedures.

 

The service has
taken onboard feedback and is now amending its stance slightly on the charges
for replacement recycling containers in order to try and assist the most
vulnerable in society.
