Purpose

In June 2024,
Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of WLA to appoint a
provider for a West London Employment Support Service.  The
procurement process has been completed, and this report recommends
that the contract be awarded to The Shaw Trust. This contract will
include the Work Well programme and the Connect to Work
programme.  
In October 2024,
Cabinet delegated authority to the Director of WLA to enter into
years 3, 4, and 5 of a contract to provide Employment support for
service users of West London Drug and Alcohol Treatment services,
with VIA.  WLA have been provided with funding for year 3 by
DHSC and this report recommends that extension.
