Purpose

This report seeks authority to award a
contract for ICT network and telephony services to commence in
March 2026 when the existing contract ends.
 
The new contract will enable local and wide
area network connectivity and line rental for broadband provision
between Ealing Council (the council) sites, the data centre, hosted
software providers, the internet and cloud providers. It will
provide adequate bandwidth and reliability to support the required
traffic with appropriate security requirements such as firewalls
and cloud proxy to protect the council from malware and other
threats.
 
This will ensure that the council can continue
to interact with its residents and customers and provide essential
services.
