Purpose

This report provides an overview of the
current community equipment service which is commissioned by London
Borough of Ealing as the lead authority on behalf of NHS North West
London Integrated Care Board. The report sets out the future
commissioning options as the current provider will cease trading in
July 2025 and also seeks approval on the recommended approach to
ensure service continuity and to discharge the Council’s
statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Chronically Sick and
Disabled Persons Act 1970, and Children Act 1989.
