Purpose

The West London Alliance has, for a number of years, collectively procured and
operated CarePlace. This is a software
system to support the electronic purchasing of services for
children’s and adults’ social care. This joint
purchasing benefits 20 local authorities who pay for the service,
and the sharing of support resources has resulted in much lower
costs for participating councils than procuring and managing
software individually.

The current software contract ends in October
2026 and this report seeks approval to
directly award a new contract to LiquidLogic Limited under the YPO Software
Application Solutions Framework Agreement for a software supplier
to maintain the CarePlace software
system.
