In line with the Council’s application
process for determining rent subsidy applications:
1. To award a rent subsidy of 50% to tenants for 2023/ 24 who meet
the eligibility requirements listed in Table 1 subject to these
tenants meeting the terms of their lease/ licence.
2. To award 25% of rent for 2023/24 to tenants who do not meet
eligibility requirements as a one-off payment to ensure
continuation of service listed in Table 2 subject to these tenants
meeting the terms of their lease or licence and on the
understanding that they will not receive rent subsidy going forward
unless their eligibility changes.
3. To note, the tenant who listed in Table 3 does not meet the
general criteria under their lease/ licence and also does not meet
eligibility requirements for rent subsidy.
