Purpose

This report seeks Independent Cabinet Member
approval for the Director of Housing & Environment to invite
and evaluate tenders for the procuring of a framework agreement for
the period 2024-28 for a patrols service that promotes public
safety and reassurance, responds to residents’ concerns about
anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Ealing’s parks and housing
estates, provides a gate-locking service for Ealing’s parks
and delivers Ealing’s out of hours Noise and Nuisance
response offer.

That, the Cabinet Member for Tacking
Inequalities:

 

                         
i.         
Authorised the Strategic Director of
Housing & Environment to invite and evaluate framework tenders
for the provision of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) patrols in
Ealing’s parks and housing estates, Noise Nuisance response
patrols and parks gate-locking service for an initial period of 4
years.

                        
ii.         
Authorised the Strategic Director of
Housing & Environment to award the framework tender for
patrolling services to tackle ASB and Noise Nuisance in Ealing as a
key officer decision in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for
Tackling Inequality.
