Purpose

The purpose of the report is to
obtain authority to award a contract for Multifunctional Devices
(MFDs), Print and Digital Workflow Software Services and Managed
Print Service Provision, including provision of relevant equipment
such as Multifunctional (combined printer/ copier/ scanner) devices
and associated services such as hybrid mail.

Content

That, the Director ICT,
IDM and Property Services (CIO),
following consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Inclusive
Economy:
 

      
i.         
Awarded a call-off contract to Canon UK Ltd
following the mini competition via the Crown Commercial Services
(CCS) Framework Agreement RM6174 for Multifunctional Devices
(MFDs), Print and Digital Workflow Software Services and Managed
Print Service Provision.

    
ii.         
Noted the total value of the contract for the
council core provision was estimated to be £1.400m, and up to
a potential £2.100m including provision for schools and other
external bodies. The contract starting April 2024 would be let for
a term of 4+2+1 years.
