Joint CCTV Executive — East Hertfordshire

The Joint CCTV Executive is responsible for the strategic direction and policy of the jointly owned and operated CCTV control and monitoring service. It approves proposals for expanding or contracting the CCTV service and agrees changes to the CCTV 'Code of Practice'.

The committee also ensures the CCTV inspection regime is maintained, reviews annual inspection reports, and considers complaints about breaches of the code, recommending disciplinary action if necessary. It makes recommendations to the Officer Management Board.
