Purpose

At the Council Meeting on 14th May 2025,
Council resolved that:

(A) Rural Prosperity Funding of up to £141,828 is allocated
to support rural businesses and infrastructure projects, with
decisions on funding delegated to the Head of Communications,
Strategy and Policy in consultation with the Executive Member for
Planning and Growth

The decision herein will support delivery of the overall UK Shared
Prosperity Funding objectives, specifically in relation to business
support and increased skills and learning provision.

Decision

That the following amounts are awarded:

£20,000 to WENTA, to provide business support in East Herts
using the Launchpad in Bishop’s Stortford as a hub
£10,000 to Hertfordshire Futures as a contribution to the
Hertfordshire Film Office
£7,500 to SEEDL for an online learning and development
platform
£12,237.75 to HUQ Industries Limited for access to town
centre footfall data
