Purpose

East Herts Council is the beneficiary of a charge on the charges register for an Easement for Vehicular Access to 10 Elizabeth Road, Bishop's Stortford. The Council's Constitution approved the deed of Easement on agreed terms to new purchasers of the property. I am now seeking authority to discharge the DS1 to the previous owners so that the charge in the sum of £500 may be discharged and removed from their title.

Decision

The Head of Strategic Finance and Property, acting under delegated authority contained in paragraph 10.13.16 of Part 10 of the Council's Constitution, has decided to approve the discharge via form DS1 of the £500 charge in relation to the deed of easement at 10 Elizabeth Road, Bishop's Stortford.
