Purpose

The council's contract for Treasury Management Advice expires on 1 October 2023. A tender was issued via the Intend Procurement Portal inviting suitable qualified companies to bid for a contract for Treasury Management Services for 3 years

Decision

The Head of Strategic Finance and Property, acting under delegated authority in Paragraph 10.6.1.2, has decided to award a three year contract for Treasury Management advice to Arlingclose Limited

Alternative options considered

Option 1 - Extension to existing contract - not possible due to Public Procurement Regulations
Option 2 - Appointment from Framework - only one supplier on frameworks and therefore limited to monopoly supplier
Option 3 - Not to have Treasury Management Advice which was rejected on the grounds it would breach the Prudential Framework requirements.
