Purpose

To renew the lease for an existing business tenancy and maintain and increase the revenue income for the Council.

Decision

The Head of Strategic Finance and Property, acting under authority delegated by paragraph 10.13.16 of the Council's Constitution has decided to renew the lease for the shop at 19 Birch Green to the existing business tenant and maintain and increase the revenue income for the Council.

Option 1 - To renew the lease
Option 2 - b)To reject the agreed terms and refer the matter to court which would likely incur significant costs and may result in less favourable terms for the Council
