Audit and Governance Committee

The Audit and Governance Committee is a legally required committee for the East Midlands Combined County Authority. It scrutinises the authority's financial affairs, risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance. The committee assesses the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of resource use and makes reports and recommendations to the Combined County Authority. It also ensures high standards of conduct among Members, operating under specific terms of reference and scrutiny standing orders.
