Decision

EMCCA Board:

A)     Considered and approved the following recommendations of the Transport and Digital Connectivity Committee:

•         Approved the decision for EMCCA to formally take on the strategic lead role for the delivery of the regional D2N2 publicly accessible charge point network.

•         Approved up to £1.3 million through the LEVI Capability Fund to EMCCA.

B)     Considered and approved the following recommendations of the Skills and Employment Committee:

•         Approved the proposed approach to grant funding for Further Education Providers who are delivering eligible courses based on an allocation model reflecting the proportion of eligible learners.

•         Delegated authority to the Director of Strategy and Inclusive Growth, in consultation with the Section 73 Officer and Monitoring Officer, to enter into and execute grant funding agreements to enable delivery of the Construction Industry Placement scheme.
