About
The Lead Member for Resources and Climate Change is authorised by the Cabinet to make specific decisions within their designated areas of responsibility. These decisions are made at Individual Decision Making meetings, attended by council officers, and may also be attended by other councillors. The Lead Member oversees strategy and policy for all Corporate Resources, including financial management, property asset management, risk management, procurement, internal audit, ICT, personnel, legal matters, Orbis, and Coroner Services. They also hold the council's lead responsibility for climate change and related ancillary activities.
