Purpose

To allow South East Water to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the following
lengths of road to a speed not exceeding 40 mph:

Decision

Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit
Cade Street / Battle Road - from the junction with C406 School Hill
to North Lodge and from Kemps Farmhouse to Three Cups Corner.

The Order commences 2 January 2025 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
between 2 January & 5 April 2025.
