Purpose

The
Department for Education (DfE) is inviting East Sussex County
Council (ESCC) to submit a detailed proposal in January 2025 to
oversee the delivery of a programme of DfE funded Skills Bootcamps
(short level 3 qualifications) to support workforce development in
East Sussex in 2025/26. The County Council will be responsible for
managing the programme and budget to support the priorities of the
council and of Skills East Sussex. A key decision is required in
relation to the ‘Skills Bootcamps’ programme to support
the proposal submission in line with the ESCC Corporate Bidding
Protocol.
