Adult
Social Care is proposing to cease funding drug and alcohol recovery
services when the current contracts for recovery services for
carers, the street community and support networks end in the summer
of 2025. The proposal is one of a number that the department has
been consulting on to help close the Council’s funding gap.
The results of the consultation for recovery services will be
shared and Cabinet will make a decision
on whether the proposal goes ahead or not.
