Purpose

The
Government has launched a consultation seeking views on a proposal
to form a Mayoral Combined County Authority for local government in
East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton. The Leader is asked to note
the report and to seek the views of Full Council ahead of
consideration by Cabinet.
