Purpose

To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following lengths of road;

Decision

Temporary Road Closures
Snatts Road - from the junction with C41 London Road to the
junction with C10 Rocks Road.
Diversion via C10 Rocks Road, Church Street – C41 High
Street, London Road and vice versa.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 22 April & 30
June 2025.

Rocks Road - from the junction with U7513 Snatts Road to the
junction with U7776 Rocks Park Road.
Diversion via C10 Church Street – C41 High Street, London
Road – U7513 Snatts Road and vice versa.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 22 May & 1
June 2025.

Cambridge Way - from the junction with U7513 Snatts Road to the
junction with U7766 Claremont Rise.
Diversion via U7766 Claremont Rise – U7513 Snatts Road and
vice versa.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 28 April & 16
May 2025.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.

The Order commences 22 April 2025 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken as detailed
above.
