Purpose

To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road
to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:

Decision

Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Battle Road - from the junction with A2100 Beauport Park Roundabout
to the junction with A2100 Hastings Road.

The speed restriction is anticipated to be in place between 16 May
& 21 December 2025.

The Order commences 16 May 2025 and is made following the issuing
of a Temporary Notice dated 4 April 2025 and a Temporary Successive
Notice dated 25 April 2025 under the relevant sections of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and lasts for a period of
18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is
earlier.
