Purpose

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out
works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections
14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, which will temporarily suspend parking in the following
length of road;

Decision

Temporary Parking Suspension
Bolton Road – disabled persons parking places between the
junction with U2135 Lismore Road and the junction with U2134
Terminus Road.
Replacement disabled persons parking places will be provided in
U2140 Tideswell Road between the junction with U2140 Longstone Road
and the junction with A259 Susans Road, replacing the shared permit
and paid parking bay.

The Order commences 10 October 2025 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 10
October 2025 & 31 May 2026 depending upon the weather
conditions.
