Purpose

To award the contract for the East Sussex
Domestic Abuse Service (ESDAS) following the outcome of an open
tender procurement process.

Decision

To award the East Sussex Domestic Abuse
Service contract to the provider who is considered to have
submitted the most advantageous tender. Following a thorough and
transparent procurement process.

Alternative options considered

Contract extension was considered but the
incumbent provider indicated they did not want to continue to
deliver the contract.

A direct award was considered but there was too much competition
within the market for this option to be suitable.

Due to this, it was decided that an open and full tender process
was needed. This was carried out in October 2025.
