Purpose

To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily restrict all traffic using the following length of road
to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:

Decision

Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Uckfield Road – from the junction with C9 Isfield Road to the
junction with U5021 Old Uckfield Road.

The Order commences 15 December 2025 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
between 15 & 22 December 2025 depending upon the weather
conditions.
