Purpose

To allow Southern Water to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following lengths of
road;

Decision

Fyrsway – for its full extent.
Diversion, for the section between U6638 Shepherds Way and U6640
Gorsethorn Way, via U6638 Shepherds Way - U6640 Commanders Walk,
Gorsethorn Way and vice versa.

Broadway - from the junction with U6638 Waites Lane to the junction
with P6756 Lower Waites Lane.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.

The Order commences 4 March 2026 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 4 March
& 24 November 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
