Purpose

NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made an Order which will come into effect on 23
February 2026 under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of, and
Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the
Act"), as amended, and of all other enabling powers, which amends
the restrictions in the following lengths of road in
Crowborough;

Decision

No Waiting At Any Time
C11 Hadlow Down Road - both sides; P8922 Tubwell Lane – both
sides; Marlowe Close – both sides.

School Keep Clear – from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
inclusive except August
C11 Hadlow Down Road – west side.

A copy of the Order, plan showing the length of road and a
statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may
be inspected in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall,
St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday between
9am and 4pm and online at;

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of
its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, may within six weeks of 20 February 2026,
apply to the High Court for this purpose.
