Purpose

The decision was taken to extend the current
contract rather than retender, due to market uncertainty and
limited suppliers. The extension forms part of the original
contract so by using it we are not exposed to this
volatility.

Decision

The Services Agreement for the Provision of
Tipping Points handling of dry mixed recyclables will be extended
for a period of 2 years until 28 June 2026, as allowed for in
Clause 2.3 of the Contract.
