Purpose

To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following length of road;

Decision

Temporary Road Closure
Susan’s Road - from the junction with B2136 Langney Road to
the junction with U2144 Pevensey Road.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via B2136 Langney Road
– U2145 Cavendish Place - U2144 Pevensey Road.

The Order commences 9 January 2024 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 9 &
15 January 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
