Purpose

NOTICE is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made an Order under the relevant sections of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling
powers, which will introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in
the following length of road which will facilitate access to the
new development:

Decision

Introduction of No Waiting At Any Time in
Swanley Close, Eastbourne;
north side – 15 metres each side of the entrance to
Wateringbury Way

A copy of the Order, plan showing the length of road and a
statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order can
be viewed in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall,
St. Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday
between 9am and 4pm or online at;

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of
its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order may, within six weeks of 24 November 2023,
apply to the High Court for this purpose.
