Purpose
Permission is sought to consult on the proposed
admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled
schools in East Sussex for the 2025-26 school year. The School Admissions Code requires a consultation
period of at least six weeks between October and
January. Following this, the Lead
Member will need to determine the admission arrangements at the
meeting in February 2024 in line with the requirements of the
School Admissions Code.
