Purpose

The
land known as Former Hindsland Playing Fields was declared surplus
in 1989. At the end of an appropriate marketing period, Officer
recommendations for the preferred purchaser will be presented in a
Lead Member report to formally declare the site to be surplus,
approve the sale and to ask the Chief Operating Officer be granted
authority to agree detailed terms with the preferred purchaser and
if they don’t complete the purchase, to move the next
prospective purchaser(s) if appropriate.
