Purpose

Hye
House Farm is currently occupied by way of a farm tenancy which is
due to expire in September 2023. We are seeking Lead Member
approval to formally declare the site to be surplus, and to approve
the appointment of an appropriate marketing agent to seek to
dispose of the land which will be in separate lots to maximise
value. We then ask that the Chief Operating Officer be granted
authority to agree detailed terms with the preferred purchaser and
if they don’t complete the purchase, to move the next
prospective purchaser(s) if appropriate.
