Purpose

To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily close the following length of road;

Decision

Temporary Road Closure
Westcourt Drive - from the junction with U6535 Terminus Avenue to
the junction with U6534 Collington avenue

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via U6534 Collington
Avenue – B2098 Terminus Road – A269 Buckhurst Road
– A269 Upper Sea Road – B2182 Sea Road, Marina, West
Parade – U6547 Richmond Avenue and vice versa.

The Order commences 29 May 2023 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 29 May
& 17 July 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.
