Purpose

The
current Direct Payment support services contract ends 31 March
2024. Lead Member is therefore asked to approve the
re-commissioning of the Direct Payment Support Services to commence
01 April 2024. The new contracts will be for 5 years with the
option to extend for a further 24 months. The Direct Payment
Support Service will deliver early advice, recruitment &
employment, plus core support. There will also be an approved list
of payroll providers offering choice and flexibility for clients
using Direct Payments.
