Purpose

To allow CK Civils Ltd to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily close the following length of
road;

Decision

Temporary Road Closure
Park Road - from the junction with U7693 Station Road to the
junction with P9120 Bulrush Lane

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with
an alternative route for through traffic via C208 Park Road –
A271 Hawkswood Road - Amberstone - C343 New Road and vice
versa.

The Order commences 22 May 2023 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 22 May
& 21 July 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.
