Purpose

To facilitate delivery of machinery and
materials for the footway /cycleway construction by the River Ouse,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily impose restrictions on the following length
of road:

Temporary Prohibition of Waiting &
Parking
The Street – from the junction with C7 Newhaven Road to Briar
Cottage

The Order commenced 27 July 2022 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated the restriction will be in place between
9 May & 30 September 2023 depending upon the weather
conditions.
