Purpose

Following a fully open and compliant tendering process for a provider to manage the Welfare Benefits Helpline & Specialist Advice Service Lead Member approval is being sought to award the contract to the preferred provider. This will be from 1 April 2027 with an initial period of three years to 31 March 2030, with the potential to extend for a further 36 months.
