Purpose

Contract award for the installation of
sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) for schools as part of the Blue
Heart SuDS for Schools project. Strategic procurement process has
been undertaken prior to awarding this contract.

Decision

To procure the services for sustainable
drainage systems (SuDS) for Schools Construction and Installation
contract.

The project will initially have a year 1 budget of £290,000
for delivery of 7 schools with opportunity to extending the
contract in year 2 (2025/26) if additional funding is secured for
delivering further schools and again in year 3 (2026/27).

The total project cost secured for 7 schools, for other work
including the installation and construction, is
£500,000.

Decision needed to enable the delivery of the SuDS for Schools
project, to which spend must be completed in 2024/2025 as per the
grant funding agreement.
