Purpose

To allow Thakeham Homes to carry out works,
East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1)
and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
which will temporarily impose a temporary prohibition of waiting at
any time in the following length of road;

Decision

Temporary Prohibition of Waiting at Any
Time
Bishops Lane – from the junction with P5839 Bishops Close to
the junction with U5678 Green Close.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access
for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.

The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12
August 2024 & 11 March 2026 depending upon the weather
conditions.
