Purpose

The tendered value is in line with pre-tender
estimate and is within the approved budget. The decision allows the
Contract to be awarded for the building works to
commence.

Decision

The works will comprise extensive remodelling
of a vacant wing at Grangemead, Hailsham to create 7 flats for
adults with learning disabilities. Works include a complete
overhaul of the mechanical and electrical systems, wheelchair
accessibility on the ground floor, external landscaping and
construction of a new walkway to enhance access.
