Purpose

To allow Sunninghill Construction to carry out
works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections
14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
amended, which will temporarily restrict all traffic using the
following length of road to a speed not exceeding 40
mph:-

Decision

Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit
New North Street – from the A22 Boship roundabout to the
junction with B2104 North Street.

The Order commences 30 September 2024 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
between 30 September 2024 & 20 March 2026.
