Purpose

Notice is hereby given that East Sussex County
Council have made the above Order under the relevant sections of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other
enabling powers coming into operation on 28 October 2024 which
introduces, amends and revokes various restrictions along the
following lengths of roads:

A copy of the made Orders, plans showing the lengths of road and a
statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order,
along with copies of those parts of the old Orders being revoked
can be viewed at

or inspected in Reception, East Sussex County Council, County Hall,
St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes, BN7 1UE on Monday to Friday
between 9am and 4pm.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of
its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act of 1984, or on the
grounds that any requirement of the Road Traffic Regulation Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, may within six weeks of the date the Order
is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
