Purpose

To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will
temporarily restrict all traffic using the following lengths of
road to a speed not exceeding 30 mph:-

Decision

Temporary 30 mph Speed Limits
Uckfield Road – from Malvern House to Furze Hill.

Chillies Lane – from the junction with A26 Uckfield Road to
Poundgate Manor.

The Order commences 15 November 2024 and lasts for a period of 18
months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
However, it is anticipated the speed restriction will be in place
on 15 November 2024.
