About

The Standards Committee promotes and maintains high standards of conduct for Councillors and Co-Opted Members across Epping Forest.

It advises the Council on its Members' Code of Conduct, monitors its operation, and provides training. The committee also considers dispensations for councillors and deals with reports from the Monitoring Officer concerning councillor conduct, including investigations. Its remit extends to Parish and Town Councillors within its area and adjudicates on complaints regarding council protocols.
