Purpose
Having just upgraded our emerency alarm system
in our independent living schemes from analogue to digital - to
remin with new provider for maintenance for continuity
purposes.
Content
That an exemption be approved in accordance
with Paragraph 18.1 (a) of the Council’s Procurement Rules
and the Service Director (Housing & Property) be authorised to
enter into a 3 year contract with Appello in June 2025 to provide a
maintenance service for all of the Council’s emergency alarm
equipment at a total cost of £85,754.67, funded from the
existing Independent Living Management Budgets, without the need to
undertake a tender exercise.
